Comparison condition to a number

Dialog: Manager for Bedintern Formatting Rules

Open this with Edit rule

Then comes an input field for entering the condition formula

 

Only format cells for which applies

 

Expression is: [Controlname] = 123

 

Result: Conditional Formatting, Adjacent Field with Numeric Value

Now all cells are marked in color, which correspond to the condition in the adjacent field with value = 1

 

Comparison condition to a text

 

If you want to compare to a letter string, then the expression must be in quotes

Expression is: [control] = "abc"
