My MS Access application crashes often at the customer, and always when an input window is closed and the page back to the overview.

Subject: Microsoft Access Office 365

Crash when closing the window (other tab)

Cause and solution

Subforms are embedded in the main window that the application should switch to.

These should not be loaded in edit mode.

It is best to switch this to data mode: Snapshot

To do this, open the form with the context menu

At design view where the subform is embedded.

Then open the properties of the form (top left corner)

And set to Data-> RecordsetTyp-> Snapshot.

The default setting: Dynaset often causes problems

Access: sorting a form set in vba
Access: Delete record in form without message
Access: Open Form with OpenArgs
